El Salam Oncology Center

El Salam Oncology Center was established by a presidential decree regarding the establishment of specialized medical centers that report directly to the Minister of Health. The center was officially inaugurated on 1/11/1999.

El Salam Oncology Center is one of the most modern tumor treatment centers in Cairo, and it is equipped with all the capabilities that allow early detection, diagnosis and treatment of tumors through surgical, chemical, and radiotherapy, in addition to palliative treatment.

The center also treats all cases of tumors, and it serves all the people of the region in addition to the governorates of Cairo, Suez and Ismailia.

El Salam Oncology Center is one of the most advanced centers in oncology surgeries, and breast cancer cases represent 37% of the patients who visit the center, followed by colon tumors, rectal tumors, and lymphomas, indicating that waiting lists for patients are few compared to waiting lists in other oncology centers.
