The Coptic Hospital

The Coptic Hospital is a name given to three hospitals: two in Egypt, one in Cairo (and affiliated with the therapeutic institution)

The Egyptian Coptic Church adopted the idea of ​​establishing a hospital when a group of Coptic doctors agreed to establish the Coptic Hospital, which was opened in Azbakeya and was famous for the work of Dr. Naguib Mahfouz there. It was run by a board of directors appointed by the Church.

The Egyptian government nationalized the Coptic Hospital and became affiliated with the Cairo Medical Institution.

The Coptic Hospital contains many medical specialties (general medicine, obstetrics and gynecology, general surgery, children and newborns, internal and endoscopy, oral and dental surgery, ear, nose and throat surgery, urology, dermatology and venereology, reconstructive surgery, heart, eyes, surgery bones and joints).

The Coptic Hospital contains an excellent selection of doctors, consultants and specialists from various medical specialties.
