ICC Hospital is a hospital specializing in the treatment of cardiovascular diseases. The beginning was in October 1999. Due to the expansion, the hospital became the first specialized hospital in cardiovascular diseases only in September 2002.
Work began in the new headquarters from September 2002 with a strength of 40 beds consisting of fourteen intensive care beds + 26 wards beds, rooms, a catheter room + two operating rooms, a laboratory, an emergency and critical cases department, and a medical supply department. One bed consists of 17 intensive care beds and 36 beds are rooms and suites.

The Cardiac Catheterization Department has the latest catheterization device in the Arab Republic of Egypt and is equipped with the latest types of incisive balloon catheters and stents. It does the following:-
Coronary angiography to diagnose coronary artery stenosis.
Expansion of the coronary artery by balloon and installation of regular stents and chemically treated.
Immediate treatment of recent thrombosis by balloon catheterization and stenting at any time during the day.
Coronary artery dilatation with a Rotablator.
Coronary Ultrasound before and after stenting (IVUS)
Expansion of the pulmonary valve and mitral valve by balloon.
Imaging and expanding the carotid and peripheral arteries and kidney arteries by balloon and installing stents.
Installing filters in the inferior vena cava to prevent lung clots.
Coronary angiography to diagnose coronary artery stenosis.
Expansion of the coronary artery by balloon and installation of regular stents and chemically treated.

Intensive Care Department This department is equipped to receive heart cases (new and old strokes in the heart and lungs - acute failure of the heart muscle and irregular heartbeat).
The department consists of 17 American-made beds, and the bed position and height can be controlled with a remote control device according to the patient’s health need. Each bed is attached to a lighting control unit and an American monitor based on the latest scientific findings. It is possible to follow up on all vital signs of the patient, electrocardiogram, and follow up on breathing. The patient, blood pressure and oxygen concentration in the blood 24 hours a day, as well as for each central oxygen bed, a respirator, infusion devices and a call to nursing, and all the family is connected to a central station that enables cardiologists who are available 24 hours to follow up on all patients at the same moment.

The Department of Cardiovascular Surgery is equipped with 2 operating rooms at the highest level under the supervision of a group of the best cardiology professors and professors of vascular surgery in the Arab Republic of Egypt
The Electrocardiography Department monitors the EKG 24 hours to diagnose:
All cases of arrhythmia and mapping to study the electrocardiogram
Installing pacemakers
Regulatory installation for the treatment of heart failure
Installing an internal electric shock device
Ultrasound department on the heart, where the department contains the latest 5 ultrasound machines at the latest level

The internal department includes 34 beds equipped with the latest technology to ensure complete comfort for the patient and accurate medical care that is continuous 24 hours a day, and all hospital rooms are equipped for the first time, as they can be transformed from a mere room to an intensive care unit in seconds.
The mobile intensive care department operates by ambulances equipped as an intensive care room and includes all the drugs needed by heart patients, such as drugs, clot solvents, first aid devices, a monitor, a defibrillator, a pacemaker, and a respirator by cardiologists, anaesthesiologists, and a staff of highly trained paramedics.
The Sterilization and Infection Control Department is conducting a study to prevent any microbe, quality control, and a complete microbial survey of the hospital to ensure its permanent sterilization according to international standards, as well as a central sterilization unit to do all sterilization work in the hospital.
