If you have cholesterol which is classified within the family of fats that cause many complications such as accumulation of cardiovascular disease, blood pressure, etc., you can control it by diet on cholesterol along with physical activity regularly. What are the types of permitted foods and those prohibited from patients with cholesterol? What are cholesterol diet?.

 

If there are a high cholesterol foods are prohibited:

 

Eggs, cheese, and the opener, potatoes, butter, fresh cream and whole milk, semi skimmed and the Centre, and fatty meats such as lamb, goose, beef, chicken, pasta, cakes, chocolate, cookies and ice cream.

 

If there are a high cholesterol foods allowed:
 
-Vegetable oils: sunflower, olive, grape, etc.
-Fish rich in omega-3 acids such as tuna, salmon, mackerel, etc., so you should eat these fish from two to three times a week at least.
-2 week maximum.
-Raw and cooked vegetables except French fries.
-Fruit a day lowers cholesterol by 15%.
-Eating apples in the event of high cholesterol in the blood, and thus can be eaten several times a day.
-Can the consumption of meat and sausages in moderation and would prefer to eat white meat fat-free such as rabbit and veal and chicken.
-Two meals of cheese may represent the maximum allowed of fat per day.

 

Diet program

Breakfast:

-Coffee or tea without sugar
-One class of dairy sugar free that when fat ranged from zero to 20%.
-60 to 80 grams of whole grain bread, plus 20 grams of Omega-3 food and margarine.
-Little of fruit.
 
Lunch:
-Green vegetables
-100 grams to 120 grams of white meat or fish or boiled eggs only
-Vegetable salad
-50 grams of bread
-150 grams of starch or pulses
-One class of dairy products that contain less than 20% fat
-Tablespoon of olive or rapeseed oil
-Grain fruit

 

Dinner:
-Green vegetables
-100 to 120 grams of meat or fish
-One class of dairy sugar free and fat rate of approximately 0 to 20%
-50 grams of bread
-Grain fruit
